This is very hard to answer with no context but generally, pricing starts in 4 figures and goes up from there, depending on the company’s needs and goals.

Expanding from Serbia to Bulgaria and Macedonia is not the same as expanding from the UK to France and Germany. Markets are just bigger and demand more SEO work to capture a larger audience.

Local SEO refers to ranking in just one particular area, whereas international SEO involves ranking a website in multiple countries. 

Now, the very foundation of the process is essentially the same:

  • Properly structuring the website and making sure the URLs and “content clusters” (which simply refer to a group of articles answering different questions within one topic) are properly done
  • The link-building approach is also pretty similar; it’s just that international SEO needs a lot more of it
  • Content is king. However, identifying the audience’s behavior and matching it’s intent throughout the different stages of a sales funnel is usually a lot more comprehensive with international SEO

A very rough answer would be 6-12 months. If you have a decent website already, perhaps even faster. Existing web presence makes things a lot easier.
